This is a three part series starting with an overview of JSTOR, and then going through Basic and Advanced search features. Each step has guided video tutorials and step-by-step instructions. Intended Audience: Art Students in College.
WHY: Throughout your life as an artist you'll be creating artist statements for galleries and formal presentations which means you'll need to be able to talk about your artistic influences. This means you'll need to know how to do art research for the rest of your life!!! JSTOR is avalible at most public libraries so even after you graduate, this is a great resource to know!!
Steps:
Log in to CSUF Library with your student ID and password.
Go to database lists "J".
Click on JSTOR. [Note: this way you are already signed in and get access]
Try a simple key word basic search in the search bar. [Note: check your spelling!]
Use the left hand side filters to narrow your results.
