WHY: The best place to start on your research journey is often a simple basic search using the single bar option. From this step you can choose how broad you want to search- if you procrastinated and need the information immediately, start with just the SJSU collection.
Steps:
Click on OneSearch Home
Type in your search topic
Did you procrastinate? You can opt for just SJSU materials avalible immediatly, to the right click the drop down menu.
Choose SJSU Library to search for items SJSU has.
Note it also will suggust additional key words you might want to add to your search.
Getting sources from external collections takes time, if you need the information immediately, click the SJSU collection option.
Hit enter, or the search icon (magnifying glass).
