I spent one year as the full time OER Librarian at Coalinga College, where I built and supported an OER program focused on expanding affordable and accessible course materials for students. I am now finishing my second full-time tenure-track year at Irvine Valley College, where I serve as the OER and Equity Librarian. In this role, I also serve as the OER Committee Chair and ZTC Coordinator, supporting faculty, students, and institutional efforts related to Open Educational Resources, Zero Textbook Cost pathways, and equitable access to learning materials.

My long-term career goal is to continue growing as an academic librarian and educational leader, with a focus on information literacy, open education, and equity in higher education. I am also interested in continuing my graduate work in the future, including possibly pursuing a PhD connected to information literacy. I previously completed 42 units toward an MFA, and my background in the arts continues to shape the way I approach teaching, creativity, access, and student-centered learning.

I currently live in Southern California with my two dogs. In my free time, I love hiking with my dogs, painting, taking photographs, gardening, and practicing yoga. I am also finishing up my first of three years in my Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a focus on Equity and Justice from CSUCI's DELEJ Program.
